Probably only locals know he has bought hundreds and I do mean hundreds of Thanksgiving dinners for the needy in his community. Something he does every year.

He has bought many prom dresses for young ladies who couldn’t afford them and wouldn’t have had one without him. He has probably lost count of how many he has provided, but you can bet he is embedded in the hearts of those girls. Prom dresses are special and he knows that.

He has taken in kids who had no parents and raised them. Those he couldn’t raise – he found someone who could.

Besides prom dresses, he has bought more than a store full, or 2 or 3 or more, of clothes, shoes and other necessities for kids who would have been without. All out of his own generous pocket – didn’t matter if these kids were in sports or not.

It is also said by 30 or so people the NYT reporter misquoted him and they say he wasn’t threatening anyone.

Reno Saccoccia has been a father figure to many kids, boys and girls in Steubenville. The community knows of his good heart and that’s why they love him and support him.

I don’t know if Reno will be indicted by the Grand Jury or not, time will tell, but an indictment will never erase the generosity this man has shown to Steubenville and all the kids lives he has made better.

You want to know why people spill to a blogger when not to hospital administration? Let me tell you. This hospital is entrenched in the good old boy system that runs Steubenville and Jefferson County. Therefore the kind of gossip running rampant is tolerated and feared. Lots of who is sleeping with who gossip. Plus what someone’s ass looked like sticking out of a hospital gown or how small a condom catheter thing had to be used on a male urology patient or what some woman’s twat looked like with her legs spread open or who had to have multiple enema’s. That kind of stuff coming from a hospital staff WITH NAMES ATTACHED isn’t funny.

Trinity is said to treat their employees like shit, therefore setting up an atmosphere of chaos and deception. They let some 40 year employees, with excellent records, go on a Friday – good bye – no kiss. They have no loyalty as that and patient care became second and third to the almighty dollar.

Two hospitals merged to become Trinity Healthcare Systems, and is owned by the Sisters of Sylvania and loaded with cash. Once Ohio Valley and St. Johns merged into Trinity – they kicked out the unions and got greedy is the buzz.

That’s for starters.

This hospital gossip issue seems to be commonplace in the Ohio Valley and people there know that. Old hateful bags who think they have the right and younger ones who don’t seem to know any better, much less give a shit.

People have grown accustomed to it and even though they don’t like it – rarely speak out about it, but anger is mounting.

Don’t be fooled into thinking this is about a problem Sam Cook had on twitter – that’s far from the truth and a simpleton conclusion to make. Sam can and does speak for herself. I’m speaking for others about the gossip issue, not the records snooping issue or even the menacing issue.

Yes, I know hospital staffs gossip internally about patients and frustrations. They even gossip about each other, but the healing and helping professions are held to certain expectations and those do not include blabbing all over town and the county about private issues of patients.

This is all developing and I have dozens of emails setting on my server about this issue, but they all have a common theme – gossip into the community about private hospital issues.

It isn’t right and no one, no matter who, is entitled to engage in such behavior. It’s disgusting.

A sheriff’s deputy was assaulted in Steubenville on Wednesday.

According to Steubenville Police Chief Bill McCafferty, the deputy was assaulted in the 1135 Oak Grove Avenue.

The deputy, Joe Lamantia, responded to a call about a domestic violence. There was a protection order on a woman who lives there. Reports say the woman’s husband assaulted the deputy then ran into the woods.

Right now warrants are out for both Tammy Delguzzi and Benjamin Delguzzi. Benjamin is charged with domestic violence, resisting arrest, obstructing official business and assault on a police officer. Tammy is charged with obstructing official business for causing Benjamin to be able to run away.

**This is getting ugly!

Everyone in Steubenville “knows”, but few are willing to give names, but some have. Expect this mess to get worse. It’s hard to shock me – but I admit I have been.

I puked in a hospital bed a bunch of times at St. Lukes and I would be appalled if the nurses who took care of me had run out into the community and told everyone. I have “some” pride, you know.  I was the recipient of a bad epidural, which I actually didn’t get! It took 4 months to figure it out. Talk about Hell, headaches and all with a new baby. OMG! And I was stupid enough to go back to work after 6 weeks. I’m still pissed. Oy! But at least my nurses didn’t go out and blab about how bad I acted or how much I cussed and how much I puked. The puke went out about 4 feet and hit the wall!! I am still traumatized. LOL! I got 3 blood patches and problem resolved, but I puked like crazy after the first 2!

On Tuesday afternoon, the National Weather Service gave it the top-of-the-scale rating of EF-5 for wind speed and breadth and severity of damage. Wind speeds were estimated at between 200 and 210 mph.

According to comments, complaints have been filed with the hospital administration and more importantly – the IT Department.

I receive a lot of messages on any given day, but for several days those messages have been more about the cesspool many people believe Trinity is. I’ve been told things I won’t even repeat!

It seems people do not trust the staff and worse, according to comments, staff gossips about patients in the hospital’s care. This is serious!

I assume all hospital staffs gossip within the facility about patients, but the buzz on the Trinity staff is they gossip out in the community. I don’t think anyone who is hospitalized for whatever reason wants their neighbors or their community to hear about their condition from others. It’s scary to be honest. What happens in Trinity doesn’t seem to stay in Trinity!

Who wants a hospital staff out gossiping and laughing about who shit their bed, pissed their bed, puked in their bed or whose family showed up to visit drunk or how someone acted while in labor or whatever went on? My God, no one does, as there are much more sensitive issues than the ones listed. We all expect the highest level of privacy in a hospital. That seems to be fractured at Trinity.

Added onto all of this is the suspicion menacing and harassing of people is coming from Trinity regarding the Steubenville rape case and Jane Doe. This is very unfortunate, but something Trinity needs to investigate. This is an institution that serves the public and if these opinions get louder – this could blow up in the media. Don’t be surprised if it does and expect names of offenders to get out in a big way.

With civil suits expected and all things considered – Trinity would be a deep pockets target. It seems dicey to me. JMO.

Arias spoke to The Associated Press as part of a series of interviews with media outlets that she selected. She repeated many of her claims from previous interviews, testimony on the witness stand and her statements to the jury earlier Tuesday as she pleaded for mercy.

But she provided some new information about her case and how she believed her lawyers let her down by not calling more witnesses who could have bolstered her claims that she a victim of domestic violence at the hands of Travis Alexander.

Arias was convicted last week of first-degree murder in the June 4, 2008, stabbing and shooting death of her one-time lover in what prosecutors described as a cold, calculated killing carried out in a jealous rage. Arias maintained all along it was self-defense.

The jury began deliberating her fate Tuesday as they worked to determine whether she should be live or die for her crime. If the jury opts for a life sentence, the judge will have the option of determining whether she spends the rest of her days behind bars or is eligible for release after 25 years. Arias acknowledged it was unlikely she would ever be released, but believed she deserves a second chance.

Following her conviction, she said she preferred the death penalty in an interview with a local TV station. She said she changed her mind after a tearful meeting with family members, realizing that her death would only cause them more pain.

“I felt like by asking for death, it’s like asking for assisted suicide and I didn’t want to do that to my family,” she said.

Arias said she fought from the beginning to keep cameras out of the courtroom to limit the media spectacle, and believes that the jury should have been sequestered. She stated flatly that she did not receive a fair trial.

“The prosecutor has accused me of wanting to be famous, which is not true,” she said.

Tweets were observed telling “whoever” to get the key to a filing system – where they knew records would be kept about who was a patient and who wasn’t.

This involved the barbaric hospital hunt for Sam.

This fine institution needs to take at look at it’s internet servers and put a stop to all of this nonsense if true. It is very suspect as being the center of some very nasty and illegal activities.

It makes no sense.

It’s the usual suspects of course and one eventually has to wonder why.

They say they seek truth, but it’s obvious they seek something far different.

What they do is cheap and vulgar. Nothing has damaged the online attitudes against Steubenville and the kids there than this group of twitters. Even the girl whose name can’t be said has become a joke.

They need to evaluate their failed tactics and start over with something that is productive.
