Will never forget about HaLeigh. I know there are many people that won’t.
I hope with the upcoming Sheriff election that Putnam County might get a new sheriff. One that will allow the FBI to come in and investigate and maybe -- Find HaLeigh! Ridiculous that Hardy wouldn’t allow any help from “outsiders”.
The FBI in JAX assists in the Haleigh Cummings case, and have a room at their offices dedicated to just Haleigh, with an FBI officer assigned the case. Anonymous, where are you getting your information?
Additionally, the FBI only has jurisdiction when a child is abducted and transported across state lines. Haleigh was killed and the case is classified as a homicide. So the FBI doesn’t have jurisdiction, but are still working the case alongside the PCSO.
Anonymous, call the FBI in JAX. Ask for Special Agent Casey. He is the one in charge of the case for the FBI. Furthermore, were you not aware that last year the PCSO flew in detectives from around Florida to take a second look at Haleigh’s case?
Let’s not trash the efforts of the various law enforcement agencies, if you are not aware of the lengths they have taken to solve this case.
