Social Media users are still trying to survive the Casey Anthony case and along comes the Martin-Zimmerman tragedy! More twitter, Facebook, blog and forum wars to order popcorn for!
The Anthony case was the first big time case to capture social media and it was even watched and reactions of peeps used during the trial. We can expect no less, maybe more, for the Zimmerman trial when it goes before a Jury.
Twitter users are embroiled in bitter opinion battles daily on the Trayvon matter, while Casey Anthony followers are trying to get a boycott going to prevent her from being paid for interviews, books, appearances, whatever.
Those who proclaim nothing but hate for Anthony are her most avid followers and the same thing is showing up regarding George Zimmerman. Google searches and mentions of both Anthony and Zimmerman come from their haters far more than supporters. Haters keep Anthony alive in cyberland and will no doubt do the same for Zimmerman.
Peeps take sides, like this one but not that one. All normal as most are more comfortable with like minded peeps – but if a Zimmerman supporter, you get called a racist and with Casey Anthony you get accused of supporting the killing of babies!! FGS!! 
Casey haters have created a world of their own to live in and you can bet the Martin-Zimmerman haters will do the same. When that occurs you can throw out the idea of ever seeing anything factual or correct on social media. Everything peeps tweet, post will be held strictly to the standards of their own view point and liking. MSM, unfortunately, did the same with Anthony and have done it with Zimmerman – difference being no one cared too much when it was done to Casey Anthony – but they have been held to task over false information and false portrayals of Zimmerman!
The only weapons social media users have, other than their keyboards, are the block and the ban. LMAO!! It is used often and with great glee by most. Twitter users block those they don’t like and Facebook, blogs and forums use the ban to exact punishment for whatever reason!
The days ahead will tax most peeps nerves to say the least – but if you’re game and determined to stick it out – order more popcorn (a lot) because Zimmerman will go to trial and Casey Anthony is bound to hit the airwaves sooner rather than later.
Buckle up and buy a new popcorn popper! 
It bothers me that I am constantly being refereed to as a HATER = just because I believe in a respectful boycott of all things Anthony. On this site alone I have been labeled, belittled, and called names. YET, now I am called a HATER?
I do not speak of hate, I do not call names, I do not swear, I do not attack…..I do not harass…I do not fight…IMO
I also keep my Zimmerman/Martin opinions to myself.
It appears IMO that you might have a one sided view on this topic and you make all reality fit into this mold?
I wonder if it comes from the fact that 2 or 3 people on twitter are a little bat sheet crazy and that causes you to lump ALL of us boycotters into a preconceived lump?
As for the comment that I need to do productive things…. notice my tweets are asking people to help a young girl out by writing her letters while she is in prison. Notice I volunteer at the local soup kitchen and my local library (not this month). All one has to do is look at my facebook and one can see I am a very effective member of my community and church.
Why not choose to ignore the 2 or 3 cray crays and let the rest of us respectful boycotters alone? At least stop calling us names and assuming we are all friends. Why not stop hating and name calling on us?
I am not an expert but it seems to me that the whole Katie Curic thing was done by just 2 people. 2 people you have openly defined as mental ill and unstable. WHY promote them? or Their disease? WHY not block n ignore? Why does it bother you that these 2 mentally ill people tweet? Wayanne writes insane things about me all the time… I do not respond or read them and they are 100% directed at me, my name, my son, my pictures. I chose to ignore in hopes that someday she moves on to someone else…which she does but she always manages to come back to me….
I am just confused as to why you blog on this topic and lump ALL of us into this hate society?

I blog on this because I’ve blogged on social media issues surrounding cases for over 3 years. Started in the Haleigh Cummings case…

just a little fun fyi--I was asked to blog on the Haleigh Case -- I wonder if you noticed I choose not to -- …I wrote a blog detailing WHY I made that choice. I did write a blog detailing WAKS mental illness and scams in order to protect Haleigh’s family …. If u remember I was the reason SHE who I wont mention -- went bat sheet crazy and locked herself in the bathroom/bedroom claiming I was outside and was going to kill her and she would not come out until i took my blog down exposing her and her insanity? since that day -- she has been out for revenge….KIM recently sent me 20+ emails from HER to KIM detailing ?? involving me…I have chosen not to open them or read them. Call me sensitive…
MY GOAL is to demand changes to child abuse laws and sentencing and to stop “Getting Rich” off a missing child….scheme…
I do work hands on with kids…or I used to I should say… my son is now 19…when we lived together -- it is well documented that my life revolved around volunteering with boy scouts, martial arts, us navy sea cadets, church, etc…
When you speak in general about Boycotters = you are speaking of me-- I am a boycotter and a twitter boycott tweeter…IMO
I will speak about any issue I want to and if you or anyone else feels lumped in -- so be it. Not my problem really.
