Today, possibly speaking without thinking, possibly blurting out something she had held inside for along time, Joe Overstreet’s Aunt Vickie disclosed [to a trusted source of this blog] Joe had raped her granddaughter when she was 4 years old! Now, 13, the granddaughter’s mother and her never, ever go around Joe Overstreet.
Now we know Joe Overstreet raped a child the age of 4 nine years ago… Joe would have been 14 years of age at the time of the sexual assault. A young violent kid who possibly never gave up the desire for sexual contact with a very young female child.
Joe was protected from prosecution, even though police were called – the attorney hired by Joe’s mother informed her sister, Vickie Sullivan, the granddaughter would have to take the stand and testify, promising the attorney would “tear her up”…
Did the Cummings family pay a price for an Overstreet family unwilling to deal with a child predator of their own?
Where is Haleigh Cummings?
Can he still be tried for this, or have statutes of limitations run out? There is a lot of that it seems.. families unwilling to deal w/ their own.. rather they just hold their breaths and unleash them onto the world as soon as they can.

I posted this in my forum before it was posted here… and several members had heard he raped a child -- but he was a minor himself at the time and no one could find out anything about it…

I’ve never really put much stock into Misty or Tommy’s various stories about Joe Overstreet, however given this information coming from Vicki, it does make it much more beleivable. There are so many weird characters in this case, it is hard to pin it on just one individual.
I haven’t posted here in a long time, but this got me. This LOSER OMG, I can’t believe it, and the family didn’t do crap, this is wing, that poor Girl. I bet he had something to do with Haleigh. Something is really wrong here, and now Ronald Cummings is out of jail, like 13or 14 years early. WTH.it’s gong on. I Wonder what Ron said to cops to get out.

@RADIO -- Yes, it is… and this is how this new info came out… Vickie was told Joe had been arrested AGAIN… she asked her sister -- his mother -- Joe’s mother told her it was a LIE.. so Vickie was told to show up in court on 7/18 to see it was true… she then said no -- her daughter Monica would not do that -- would not allow it -- because Joe had raped her daughter when she was 4…. so now you all know exactly how this information came out. I don’t think Vickie or any other family member ever meant to speak these words….

No way would they put a 4 YO on the witness stand. More than likely she would have been taped with some kind of therapist asking the questions and such. Is there some kind of police report we can see or would it be sealed because of the ages at the time??
I agree… but I don’t think it took much to scare Vickie and her daughter. I don’t think the truth of this lays in the fact of the child taking the stand or not… but what Vickie and Monica were threatened with and were told by Joe’s mother and believed … Let’s be real -- this is the Hollars family here.
Juvenile records are always sealed as I understand it.
